Mary Jane loved sitting on the water's edge at Lady's Mile Beach near Limassol where she could dip her toes in the sand and water, then sit back and enjoy her novel.  This is vacation at its best!

Around another bend in the road, more orchards and vineyards.

The orchards and vineyards are to be found everywhere, frequently in the midst of nothing else.

Another day hiking through the countryside.

While out for a hike along the surrounding roads, I will routinely come across a large, new home with expansive vistas, like this one.

The typical trail to the next village is marked with utility lines strung through the hills, bring modern necessities to these scattered homes and villages.

The continuing ebb and flow of orchards and vineyards is what makes the country rich in fruits and wine.  Having sampled both, we can recommend them as very affordable and easily consumed.

This patio is the epicenter of our life on Cyprus. I don't know which is better the view or the breeze.
